Rust Swimsuit

Hi friends! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

Holy cow, can you believe it's the end of May already? I'm so excited for summer, though. I've started buying some fun pieces that will be perfect for warmer weather and summer in general. One site I love is Tobi for fast fashion items. They always have the cutest stuff, great deals, and are always right on trend. Plus they have some seriously cute suits right now that are SO affordable. Check them out if you have a swimsuit-needing trip coming up.

This swimsuit is from Tobi and I'm seriously obsessed. The quality is great and I LOVE the color. It's different and a fun twist for summer. As far as fit goes, I would say it runs true to size. Obviously the bottoms are a tad big on me, but I've already addressed why I have trouble with things fitting me in previous posts. I also absolutely love all the strappy details both in the front and back.

One thing that I was skeptical about last year when it came to swimsuits was letting my ileostomy bag show. This year I've fully embraced it and let it show. There's nothing I can do about it, so why get upset, hide, and never enjoy the pool again? I've said this before - everyone has flaws and everyone has something they are dealing with. You should never be ashamed of something that makes you different, nor should you judge others for the things that make them different. Last year I would have refused to put these pictures up on my blog for everyone to see. This year I wanted to post them, mainly to show others that you should never be ashamed of who you are and what makes you, YOU.

Cold Shoulder Top + Joggers

Happy Sunday everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful day! And most importantly, Happy Mother's Day to all the bad ass mama's out there. I would be nothing without my mama - shout out to mama Kath for all you do for me.

X Disclaimer X - I do not want to hear anymore comments about how I'm "too thin" and "need to be fed" etc. I've addressed this in multiple blog posts and on my Instagram. Long story short, it's the result of stage 4 cancer and severe crohn's disease with a diverting ileostomy. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all :)

Ok now for this outfit! How AMAZING is this top? I'm so in love with it. It's super lightweight and flowy and just perfect for summer! Yes, it's another cold shoulder top, but I love how this one is a little different because it's not an obvious cold shoulder top at first glance, if you know what I mean. Also, I love the length - It's a little on the shorter side so it could totally be worn as a crop top, however if you aren't into that look, throw on a pair of high-waisted shorts or pants (plus the straps are adjustable). Also, this top is double layered so I didn't feel like I needed to wear a bra. Although you could absolutely pair with a fun bralette for a little more coverage and support. If you saw my last post, then you know how obsessed with these shoes. I haven't found a pair of simple platform sandals like this that are COMFORTABLE in a long time.

Have a wonderful evening!

Olive Bell Sleeve Dress

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a good weekend! What do you think of the new Sweet & Sauer site design? I love it and I'm so excited with how it turned out.

How cute is this dress? Not only do I love the color (olive seems to be a hot color lately - it does come in two other colors though), but I love that it's lightweight - perfect for this time of year as we transition from Spring to Summer. Also, it has cute bell sleeves which are totally trending right now, and I love the detail in the front. Definitely worth adding to your wardrobe (plus it's 50% off!) I decided to pair a bralette with this dress, but you could totally get away with not wearing one. Dresses like this are a wardrobe staple because they are easy to just throw on and dress up or down with the right shoes and accessories.

Now to address a few things that I feel may come up in comments.... If you read my latest health post, you know that things aren't well in the cancer department (I'll do a full in-depth update really soon). First, due to the current state of my cancer, I have lost a lot of weight, so yes I'm aware how skinny my legs look and no I'm not promoting being this thin. It actually really sucks and I wish I could do more about it. Second, you may or may not notice a rash on my chest in these photos (and if you don't here, you definitely will in future photos) and that is a side effect of one of my cancer meds. I thought about trying to edit it out, but that wouldn't be authentic of me. I never want to become a blogger that over-edits or doesn't stay true to who they are.

That's all I have for now! Thanks for stopping by :)
