Long Black Tunic

What's happening everyone? Hope life has ben treating you well lately! I've slowly been getting back on my feet after being sick. Turns out I had pneumonia forming - go figure. But I'm on the mend and back in business.

What do you think of this top? It's under $20! I love a head to toe black moment. I live in these leggings lately - not only are they comfortable, but the fabric has a cool shiny look, and they're high-waisted so they're slimming (and hide Gertrude). The perfect pair for dressing up or down - a must have in my opinion. I love how this top just flows over these leggings. Such an easy look that's still chic. You could easily put this look together with things in your closet - nice leggings and a longer tunic. If I have any ostomy friends reading, it's perfect for hiding everything - these leggings are my favorite for that very reason.

How are your New Year's Resolutions going so far? I'll be honest I give myself a B- on mine. This year I wanted to become more organized in all aspects of life, and be healthier. I'm proud to admit the organization is off to a better start than I expected! I cleaned out my closet (oh my gosh I hope you saw the video on my InstaStory sharing the after), I've been better at organizing my calendar and events, and for health, I've not only stuck to all my routine appointments, but I've made appointments to see holistic doctors, acupuncture, etc. - anything to help make myself as healthy as possible.

Speaking of the new year, is there anything you want to see more or less of on Sweet & Sauer? I have some ideas of more things I want to include, but I also want to hear from you! Nothing is off limits, I'd love to hear what you'd like to see more of on the blog.

P.S. Did you check out the awesome feature Ostomy Connection did on Sweet & Sauer? So cool to be featured! Check it out here.

Have a great week!

Happy Monday! Did you have a good weekend? I celebrated my birthday with some friends on Friday and then spent the rest of the weekend relaxing! Thank you for all the birthday love last week! It was one of the better birthday's I've had, I'm excited for what my 27th year has in store!

It should be no secret that I'm loving off the shoulder shirts right now, so adding this one to the collection was a no-brainer. It's super lightweight and perfect for summer. I usually size up with Shein, however that was not needed with this shirt. I'm wearing a medium, but definitely should have gotten a small. It's one of those perfect comfy shirts that's easy to throw on and you're good to go.

These jeans have been a closet staple for the last year. I actually had to get a second pair because I wore my first pair to death. The perfect distressed white skinny jean in my opinion. And these shoes - they're new to my [ever growing] collection. I absolutely LOVE them! I was nervous about the mule trend (mainly because I'm clumsy and thought they'd fall right off my feet) but so far no issues! They're super comfy and can be dressed up or down.

Have a great week, thanks for stopping by!

Happy Tuesday! How was your weekend? I did a photoshoot with Threads Worldwide for their Spring Catalogue. It was super fun. Their Spring collection is amazing with tons of really cute pieces. Can't wait to share the pics with you soon! If you're curious about Threads Worldwide you can read about my previous collaboration with them here

This outfit is one I've been loving lately. It's super comfortable and laid back. Almost every casual top I own is a little baggy and oversized, so of course I was thrilled that this top was no different. I usually order a medium from SheIn because their sizing is on the smaller side, but this top is already oversized and I probably should have gone with a small. Oh well. I still love how baggy it is. When wearing baggier tops, I like to tuck just the front in to give a little dimension. I should also mention that the actual top is more yellow than the product photo on the SheIn website. I paired with black distressed skinnies to keep the look simple, and added these sparkle booties that I just LOVE to add an extra little oomph. I live in outfits like this on the weekend, and especially come colder days. There's just something about being comfortable and cozy when the weather gets a little chilly, am I right?
