Happy Monday everyone! Did you have a good weekend? After being under the weather for far too long, I finally felt almost back to normal. I was able to spend some time with friends I haven't seen in a while and just got back to feeling myself. Did you do anything fun?

My next few blog posts will be sharing different ways to transition into fall. I don't know about you guys, but it still feels like summer here in Denver. Mid to high 80's to be exact. Not exactly ideal fall fashion weather, right? Luckily, I teamed up with Pinks Boutique here in Denver and put together some fun ways to slowly start transitioning into those cooler temperatures. The trick is great layering pieces.

Today's look I just LOVE. A sweater dress is a perfect piece for fall. I love that this one is sleeveless and allows for fun layering with jackets and vests, without feeling smothered in fabric. The neck is slightly higher which feels so appropriate for fall. I chose to pair this dress with two items that I think are absolutely essential for fall. The first being a great hat, and the second being a cozy vest. Both are such easy ways to spice up an outfit without all the fuss. The vest can be layered over anything in your closet and instantly adds warmth and a touch of glam. Hats just make every outfit look just a little bit cooler in my opinion (and hide a bad hair day!). Spoiler alert -  I will be wearing hats A LOT this fall.
