Floral Romper

Happy Monday, hope you all had a great weekend! I had an awesome weekend! On Friday night, I attended the National Jewish Health 5280 Air Society Party at Altitude - a charity event benefiting the Morgridge Academy for Chronically Ill Children. The party was lots of fun! It was held on the rooftop of a building downtown, and had lots of yummy bites and drinks. THEN (and this is the big news) on Saturday I went to brunch and stayed out all day! This is huge because 1. I haven't gone to brunch since there was snow on the ground, and 2. I haven't spent an entire day out doing things in over a year. As much as I hate this Ileostomy bag of mine, it is nice to finally start feeling better and do things that make me feel normal. I know a day of brunch and being out and about is standard for my age group and definitely not big exciting news, but for me it's a milestone.

As much as I hate to think about it, fall will be here before we know it. Don't get me wrong, I love fall and everything it has to offer, but I'm just not ready! I want to keep wearing cute dresses and rompers, like this one from Pink's Boutique. I love how this one gives the illusion of a dress - it's unexpected and makes it unique. The low neckline was the perfect opportunity to add my favorite bralette. With fall just around the corner, adding a leather jacket, or any fun jacket, to your favorite dresses and rompers is the perfect way to transition to those cooler temps, and it's a fun way to toughen up your look. I love pairing unexpected pieces to mix up outfits - like leather jackets with florals, and sneakers with dresses.

Pink's doesn't offer online shopping, but they do take phone orders! All their info is below - definitely worth checking out.

Black Romper

Romper: Mint Julep Boutique (sold out, but I linked a bunch of really similar ones in tool below) / Shoes: Stuart Weitzman (love these and these) / Purse: Rag & Bone / Necklace: Ameliorez (MALLORY15 gets you 15% off)

Happy almost Friday! We're so close to the weekend! I don't know about you guys but I have been living in rompers this summer. Romper season is a real thing it seems, and I have totally jumped on that train. They're just so easy to throw on! Maybe it's my long legs, but pairing heels with this baby just felt wrong. I think when rompers are on the shorter side, sandals are a must to keep the look PG, if you know what I mean.

This romper has been one of my favorites summer, and I'm so sorry that it's sold out! Definitely check out some of the other things Mint Julep has to offer, though, because they have some seriously cute stuff at great price points. I also found a bunch of rompers similar to this one (think off the shoulder, poms, etc.) and linked them below.

Casual Romper

Romper: Intrigue Boutique (similar here, more linked in widget below) / Jean Jacket: HM (old, identical here) / Shoes: Converse / Watch: Michael Kors / Purse: Coach / Sunnies: Smoke & Mirrors via Ditto (Use code SWEETANDSAUER for your first month free)

Happy Tuesday! Hope you had a good weekend and your week is off to a good start!

Today I'm sharing this super cute and oh so comfortable romper I found at Intrigue Boutique here in Denver. It's a newer boutique with lots of cute clothing and accessory selections. If you're in the Denver area, definitely check them out in the Sunnyside Neighborhood (and grab a bite at Bacon Social House next door -  SO good).

I've mentioned this before, but rompers used to scare me. I always thought I looked frumpy in them. However, I've quickly become a fan and seriously love them. They're so easy to just throw on. I loved dressing this one down with sneakers and a jean jacket. Perfect for running errands or a casual Saturday out with friends. A nice alternative to traditional shorts and a tank top during the summer.

Last but not least - I have been LOVING my Ditto subscription! It's seriously fantastic. I love sunglasses, but I'm cheap and hate spending money on them. This is the perfect solution, I have access to designer sunglasses that I can wear as long as I want. And when I'm ready to swap out for a new pair, the process is so easy. I love the flexibility and all the options. My friends who have tried it are also obsessed. Try it for yourself with my code - your first month is free with SWEETANDSAUER.

Have a great week!
