Ok, so it's FINALLY starting to feel like fall around here. The high today was only 70. The mornings are getting cool and the leaves are changing like crazy!

I love this new trend for fall - the longer layering piece. I especially love this piece because I can button it up and wear as a dress. Two looks in one outfit! Fun layering pieces like this allow you to wear those fun summer graphic tanks just a bit longer, and still make a statement. Plus the longer length of this top is definitely different so you're bound to turn some heads. This outfit is a little homage to my college 'uniform'. And when I say uniform, I mean I seriously wore some rendition of a cute tank top, sweater, jeans and boots every single day. How creative, Mal. But my thought process was, I have all these fun summer tanks I'm not ready to part with just yet so just layer over. I still have the same thought process to this day.
