Happy Monday everyone! Hope you had a great weekend! If you follow me on Snapchat (mallorysauer), then you saw I FINALLY went to Avanti! It's the cool new place to eat in Denver at the moment, definitelly check it out if you're in the area!

Today I'm sharing a very simple look - jean shorts and a basic tee. Now I know this is really simple, but I want to talk about how simple doesn't have to mean boring. I absolutely love wearing a good tee and jeans or jean shorts and dressing it up with fun shoes or accessories. Or even hair and a bold lip color. I saw a girl at a concert a week ago wearing a very similar outfit - jean shorts, basic white tee, colorful necklace, statement heels and a leather jacket. She looked awesome! Simple, yet so stylish. Throwing on a jacket over this outfit is the perfect way to take a look like this from day to night. Sometimes outfits can be this simple and work. No overthinking needed :)
Now let me tell you about this tee. RUN and buy yourself one because they are uh-MAZE-ing. I have this tee in 4 colors now. They fit perfectly, are beyond soft and comfortable, and seriously get better with age (or time I should say). And they are reasonably priced. There are a ton of great tees in the market, but are usually pretty pricy. Not these babies. Z Supply has a TON of great basics - perfect for simple outfits like this one.
Last thing I want to talk about is this necklace. I recently became connected with House of Gratia et Caritas, a company that provides coverage of charitable companies that give back fashionably. I love companies that give back, and I especially love being able to work with such brands that give back in the name of fashion. This necklace came from a company called Greenola Style - a fair trade sustainable brand from Chicago that pays fair wages and empowers artisans in India, Kenya and Bolivia. My necklace came from Bolivia. I love that it's hand-made with special meaning.
I have another giveaway coming to my Instagram this week - make sure you're following me so you don't miss out! Have a wonderful week!
