Happy Monday everyone! Hope you had a great weekend! I was in Lake Tahoe part of last week and through the weekend for a good friends wedding. It was so nice to get away! Plus I've never been to Lake Tahoe before so it was fun to explore. Did you do anything fun this weekend?

This week I'm sharing a dressy look - something different for Sweet & Sauer. While I LOVE my simple and casual outfits, I do love dressing up - especially for work. There's something about throwing on a dressy and professional outfit that just makes you feel like a BOSS. Am I right? Do you recognize this top? I paired the same top with sport shorts (seen here) to dress it down. I love pieces that are versatile. This outfit in particular made me feel like Rachel from the show Suits - which you should definitely watch if you haven't yet. One of my favorite shows.

This outfit also embodies one of my other favorite trends for the summer - white on white. There is something so fresh and clean about the pairing. I've been wearing white on white a ton this summer and letting my accessories and shoes be the statement of the outfit.

ANNOUNCEMENTS!

I have some things to share with you all! First, I finally started a Twitter (@mallorysauer) account specifically for my blog. Be sure to follow me if you have Twitter! Same goes for Snapchat if you haven't added me yet (username: mallorysauer). FINALLY! I was asked to be a Trensetter for the style website Tredabl! This is a really exciting opportunity and I can't wait to share content on the Trendabl website - be sure to check it out!

That's all for now friends, have a wonderful week!

Happy birthday to me! I celebrated my birthday this weekend (actual birthday was Monday) and had an absolutely wonderful weekend. Spent time with friends, finally went to Ophelia's, a hip new restaurant in Denver, and ended the celebrations with a fun dinner with friends. Low key and relaxing - just what I needed.

I am absolutely obsessed with this dress. I wore it to work on Monday - apparently big girl duties still apply, even on your birthday. It was the perfect dress for feeling pretty while still being professional. Oh but does this dress go way beyond the office. This dress can be worn FOUR different ways. Yes, four. I've shown two of them above - the light blue layer can flip forward or backwards. In addition to these two looks, there is a sash that comes with the dress that can be worn with the front piece flipped either way. How cool is that?!

I typically don't spend a ton of money on one single piece of clothing (shoes are obviously excluded - sorry, Mom), but this dress was definitely worth the price tag. I'm a sucker for anything versatile. The silhouette is classic, the color is timeless and the quality is fantastic. I will absolutely invest in pieces that will last - both in terms of quality and seasonality. This dress is no exception.

Kora Rae is a new brand to me and I am in LOVE with their pieces! I encourage you to check out their selection - something might be right up your alley! Best news? Use 'MALLORYSAUER1' at checkout for $50 off your purchase!

Hope you have a wonderful rest of your week!

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a good weekend!

Today I'm sharing an outfit that I wore while in Laguna Beach last weekend for a girlfriend's bachelorette party. Holy cow did we have fun. It was the perfect weekend in Laguna. We went shopping, spent time on the beach, went out to a club and had tons of yummy meals.

Our last night there we went out to dinner and sat on the patio - which is where I wore this outfit. I have been loving these jeans and wearing them a ton lately, so of course I used our dinner as an excuse to dress them up. I wanted the shoes to be the highlight of the outfit. Pairing destroyed white skinnies with a solid high-low top did just that. This was the perfect summer night outfit. Sometimes the most simple things paired together create the best outfits.

Next week I'll be sharing my first makeup review! I'm so excited to add that element to my blog. Stay tuned!

Have a great week everyone!
